For wildlife lovers, a 12-hour wild safari is never too long! It gives you the best chance to see elusive animals like leopards and sloth bears that are rarely seen on shorter tours. We take breaks in scenic spots to keep the experience comfortable.

We recommend bringing sunblock, a hat, binoculars, and a good camera. Wear comfortable, neutral-colored clothing. We provide plenty of water and snacks, but you can also bring a packed lunch or we can arrange one for you.

Udawalawe is less crowded than Yala, and its open terrain makes it much easier to spot wildlife throughout the day. It has a very high density of elephants, ensuring your safari is packed with sightings from start to finish.
